Call for scientific workshop proposals LEFE National Program

The Ocean-Atmosphere Specialized Commission, through the Scientific Expertise Committees (CES) of the LEFE program, organizes or co-organizes scientific workshops on an emerging idea or a scientific theme to be structured, in the Ocean-Atmosphere field (1 or 2 days). In this context, we are launching a call for proposals for scientific workshops for the year 2025.

To this end, the LEFE program will examine all proposals received before September 30, 2024 at the following email address francois.schmitt@cnrs.fr in a free format (PDF) of 2 pages maximum, indicating the title of the event, the organizing laboratory, the name of the sponsor, the venue and dates, the scientific expertise committee (CES) involved (CHAT, CLIMAGO, CYBER, GMMC or MANU), the workshop's inclusion in the challenges and priority areas of the Ocean-Atmosphere prospective, a brief general description and a provisional budget describing any co-financing and the amount requested from LEFE.

Symposia or meetings linked to the setting up or follow-up of a research project are not eligible. Funded workshops are intended to provide input for LEFE's ESCs, and a report will be requested at the end of the workshop.
